Accelerated courses are high-speed, high-intensity courses that allow students to complete a course in a much shorter period of time than traditionally paced classes. Classes generally meet for several hours just once or twice per week.  Accelerated courses are identified with an 'AL' – Accelerated Learning; which is placed behind course titles.
