Director of Health 

Southeast Technical Institute is seeking an experienced professional to direct the operations for its Health and Human Services Division. This individual will: 

• Establish operational policies and procedures and make any necessary modifications.
• Oversee program accreditations and ensure their compliance.
• Supervise and evaluate the work of the Division’s instructors.
• Identify needs for facilities and equipment and recommend any changes.
• Responsible for the Division’s budget.
• Determine appropriate health program curriculum and recommend revisions as needed.
• Provide assistance to faculty and staff relative to student activities and instruction.
• Recommend employment actions for departmental personnel.
• Promote Southeast Technical Institute’s Health and Human Services Division to a variety of external sources. 

Master’s degree in health-related or education field with 3 years experience in the health industry required. 2 years management experience in a leadership role that involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources modeling. Post-secondary teaching and instruction with competency-based curriculum desired. Excellent computer skills in management systems and office applications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and planning ability. Experience in developing and assessing the effectiveness of health care programs in an educational setting a plus. Some travel required.
