Phlebotomy/Patient Care Technician Program
Area of Instruction: Phlebotomy – Phlebotomy Principles and Practices and Introduction to Phlebotomy
Course Schedules Available: January 11 through March 5, 2010 - Monday/Wednesday: 01:30pm – 03:30pm, Friday: 08:00am – 11:30am
Primary Responsibilities Include:

Utilizes teaching techniques consistent with area of instruction and program objectives that may include simulation and technology.

Establishes a high degree of student/instructor rapport and builds good interpersonal relationships with colleagues.

Maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom setting to insure maximum student motivation.

Coordinates the operations and necessary equipment to assure classroom is properly equipped and staffed for student instruction.

Prepares and furnishes reports required for STI administration, supervisors, and student progress.
Qualifications:
-
Associates Degree, MLT or CLS Certification, and three years experience required.

Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite and technologies relative to the Phlebotomy field. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and quickly learn new technology relative to campus software systems (grading, intranet, etc.).
