WEB SPECIALIST

 Primary responsibilities will include: 

• Design and create Internet and Intranet applications in accordance with management priorities, policy directions and departmental goals.
• Review, maintain, and enhance both internal and external Web sites to ensure content accuracy, timeliness and relevance.
• Monitor Web usage and provide statistics for management reporting.
• Provide technical support for issues and enhancement requests for internal and external Web sites.
• Design and conduct training sessions for end users.
• Maintain thorough documentation regarding all Web projects.
• Keep informed of industry trends and applicable technologies and recommend programming changes and application updates as necessary.

 Education/Qualification Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED 
• Two-year technical degree in a programming related field.
• Two-years practical and direct experience working with Web clients and servers.
• Expertise in Microsoft IIS and SQL Server along with FTP, TELNET, HTML, C#, and JavaScript
• Experience with Cascading Style Sheets, XML, or other frameworks.
• Experience with Forms and report design, Web-based CRM products, e-commerce, content management, and archiving systems.

 Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to interact with people in a pleasant, positive and respectful manner. Ability to multi-task and problem solve under pressure. Work as a team member in meeting departmental goals. Demonstrate commitment to Southeast Technical Institute and its mission.
