STI prepares for possibility of H1N1

Novel influenza A (H1N1) is a new flu virus of swine origin that was first detected in April 2009.  While infection rates among college-age persons have been higher than other age groups, the illness in this age group has not been severe. Pandemic influenza, however, is unpredictable.

In hopes to keep the level of infection to a minimum and prevent a disruption to the education process, Southeast Tech is working to help prevent its students, staff and faculty from being affected by H1N1.
