This year the Southeast Technical Institute Foundation awarded over $50,000 in scholarships to our students. Individual awards ranged from $250 to $1000 and you don’t have to be a straight-A student to qualify. There are many types of scholarships available to STI students based on criteria including academic achievement, financial need, program area, community involvement and participation in student activities.
Each November STI Scholarship Applications will be available on-line and in the Financial Aid Office. Applications must be completed by the second week in January. Students who complete the scholarship application process will be considered for all the scholarships for which they are eligible. Recipients are notified of their awards by late April. Funds are placed directly into the students’ Business Office accounts the following fall.
