Meet Our President Jeff Holcomb
At Southeast Tech we are proud to have sent more than 14,000 exceptional graduates into the state’s workforce. Daily, it is reiterated that thousands of up and coming positions are technical in nature, which is definitely great news for our students and alumni!

A South Dakota native, Jeff is from Long Valley, South Dakota on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Jeff received his bachelor’s degree in German and Political Science and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.
He began his career in education in 1985 as a legislative assistant to the Secretary of Education and Cultural Affairs. From 1993 until the summer of 1999, he served the state of South Dakota as the Chief Purchasing Administrator. He moved to Sioux Falls accepting an appointment as the Purchasing Coordinator for the City of Sioux Falls.
In August of 2004, Jeff accepted the position of President/CEO of Southeast Technical Institute in Sioux Falls.
Jeff is married to his lovely wife Robyn, a High School vocal music teacher for the Sioux Falls School District and a dance instructor with Dance Gallery. They have three daughters Laurel, Elise, and Lily ages 14, 12, and 8.
