Housing Personnel
STI Housing has two live-in professionals, full-time maintenance and full-time security staff that are available to assist residents. Our staff is dedicated to making the STI housing experience a positive one!

Andrew VanZanten
Housing Manager
Andy has been managing the Southeast Tech Apartment complex since 2007. Previous to his time at Southeast Tech, he served as Hall Director and Housing Coordinator at Augustana College in Sioux Falls. Andy graduated from South Dakota State University with a BS in History in 2003 and an MS in the Administration of Student Personnel Services in 2005.

Anna Peterson
Housing Assistant Manager
Anna started with STI in the Fall of 2011.  Previously she has served in several Student Services positions at both Globe University and Southwest Minnesota State University. She graduated from SMSU with a BS in Business Administration in 2008 and is currently pursuing her MS degree in Education.

Al Phillips
Housing Security Officer
Al has been Southeast Tech’s housing security officer since February 2012 after serving over 25 years at the Sioux Falls Police Department.
