Southeast Tech Laptop Program
All new students entering a Southeast Tech laptop required program must purchase a laptop from Southeast Tech. The laptop cost is included in tuition during your first semester while at Southeast Tech and Financial Aid can be applied. Southeast Tech purchases nearly 2,000 laptops directly from the manufacturer every year and passes the savings on to the students. Southeast Tech laptops are covered by a comprehensive service agreement which includes onsite repair and customer support for three years through the Southeast Tech IT Support Center. Laptops are also available to students in non-laptop required programs through the same conditional sales agreement process.

Students will receive their laptop once they complete a Conditional Sales Agreement with Southeast Tech. Under this agreement, students will be provided with all necessary software during the time that they are enrolled, depending on the student’s program. Southeast Tech will remain the owner of the laptop throughout the time the student is at Southeast Tech. Once the student completes their program of study and has STI software removed, a bill of sale will be completed and the student will retain ownership of the laptop.

Comprehensive Service Agreement
All laptops are covered under a 3-year Comprehensive Service Agreement. A fully staffed IT Support Center is available to assist students with laptop problems, questions, or repairs. If your Southeast Tech laptop requires long-term repair, a loaner laptop will be provided. Warranty repair covers parts and labor, which is included under the Southeast Tech Conditional Sales Agreement.
