Southeast Tech’s Evening Licensed Practical Nursing diploma program offers all of the required LPN classes will be three nights a week from 5:30 to 9:30 and every Saturday classes will meet for 8 to 12 hours during the day. The evening/weekend program takes less than two years to complete. This program is a part-time program, and it does run through the summers. If you are interested in becoming an LPN, but can’t take courses during the weekday, this could be a great option for you!
Graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-PN and be licensed as an LPN after approval by the Board of Nursing in their state of residence.
Students who are not South Dakota residents or South Dakota residents who are seeking employment outside South Dakota should contact that state’s Board of Nursing for any additional requirements.
