GED preparation, official GED practice tests and official GED testing are available at Southeast Tech.
General Education Development (GED) Preparation
The complete GED is divided into five sub tests: Language Arts–Writing, Social Studies, Science, Language Arts–Reading and Mathematics. GED participants interested in enrolling in a GED preparation program must attend a scheduled orientation session. Orientation is offered on Tuesday evenings beginning at 4:15 pm and ending at 8:00 pm. Students must attend the entire orientation session.

*Students must present an original social security card and government issued photo ID with birth date each time they register for OPT's. A cash payment of $6.00 per subject area is due at registration.
OFFICIAL GED TESTING
Friday, June 8th and Saturday, June 9th - Call 605.367.7997 for additional information.
*Students must present an original social security card and government issued photo ID with birth date each time they register and/or take an official GED test. A cash payment of $20.00 (one time only registration fee) and $12.00 per subject area are due at registration. Retakes for the GED subtests are $15.00 each.
