Chad Mulder

Chad Mulder started at Southeast Technical College in 2026 as a Collision Repair & Finishing instructor. He graduated with an associate degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance from Mitchell Technical Institute. He quickly realized that was not his passion. Instead, he wanted to work with cars. Chad his associate degree from STC in 2004 and started working in the industry as an auto body technician. He has worked at shops in Mitchell, Lennox and Sioux Falls on personal vehicles, semi-trucks and with fire equipment. Chad’s extensive experience includes vehicle repair, welding, metal fabrication, custom fabrication and estimating.

During his second year in industry, he helped his employer earn the title of No. 1 Shop in North America.
