Student Counseling
Southeast Technical College offers free, confidential counseling services to students through our Campus Counselor, as well as through BetterMynd, an online therapy platform. Services are available for a wide range of issues related to one’s personal life and for success as a student.

BetterMynd offers free, confidential 50-minute video counseling sessions with licensed therapists, plus 24/7 crisis support for students.

Community and Wellness Resources for Students
Southeast Technical College is committed to student success and provides a variety of internal services, regardless of program or credit load. We also want to connect students to free community resources such as diaper giveaways, food pantries and even assistance with housing or bills, as well as organizations and resources to assist in our student's mental health and wellbeing.

The Southeast Technical College Counseling Office is located in the Sullivan Health and Science Center, 2300 N. Career Ave.
Please note:
- Students must be physically located in state for sessions with the campus counselor, as STC's counselor is licensed in South Dakota.
- STC counseling services are not intended for individuals currently involved, or who may become involved, in legal proceedings.
