Your time at Southeast Technical College is filled with opportunities. Student Success Center staff will guide you in making your time at Southeast Tech a success. We have an array of resources for you – from a library with study space to a team of advisors to help coach, mentor and inspire you. Southeast Tech also offers tutoring, counseling and accessibility services. Student Success services are housed in the Mickelson Center.

Community and Wellness Resources for Students

Southeast Technical College is committed to student success and provides a variety of internal services, regardless of program or credit load. We also want to connect students to free community resources such as diaper giveaways, food pantries and even assistance with housing or bills, as well as organizations and resources to assist in our student's mental health and wellbeing.

Student Success Seminar

All new students with less than nine successful post-secondary credits are required to complete a Student Success Seminar course taught by a Student Success Advisor. These instructors become student's Student Success Advisors throughout their tenure at Southeast Tech. The course focuses on developing academic study skills, connecting students with peers and guiding them to student support services.

Library

Southeast Tech’s library provides access to electronic and print resources for research, coursework and recreational reading, and it has dedicated staff. Library resources may be accessed off campus through myTech.

Student Counseling

Southeast Tech offers free, confidential counseling services for students. Traditional, phone and distance counseling services are available.

Accessibility Services

Southeast Technical College is committed to providing services and support that ensure students can access and participate in all activities, programs and services available to them at STC. Our services are open to students with a qualifying and documented learning, physical or psychological disability. To receive accommodations, students must have a documented, qualified disability.

Academic Resource Center

At Southeast Technical College, we want to see you succeed. We know that our students lead busy lives, and sometimes they need additional academic help with courses. Our Academic Resource Center offers enrolled students both on-site and online tutoring options.
