Southeast Technical College offers free, confidential counseling services to students. Traditional and Distance Counseling Services are available for a wide range of issues related to one’s personal life and for success as a student. Contact us if you would like more information on counseling or would like to set up an appointment.

Current Southeast Tech students may request counseling services using the myTech portal. A login is required.

Community and Wellness Resources for Students

Southeast Technical College is committed to student success and provides a variety of internal services, regardless of program or credit load. We also want to connect students to free community resources such as diaper giveaways, food pantries and even assistance with housing or bills, as well as organizations and resources to assist in our student's mental health and wellbeing.

  • Students must be located in the State of South Dakota at the time of the counseling session in order to receive services as Southeast Technical College currently employs counselors licensed in the State of South Dakota.
  • Anyone currently involved in, or who may become involved in legal proceedings, must be aware this type of counseling is outside the scope of services at Southeast Technical College.
