The Office of Access and Workforce Opportunity at Southeast Technical College works to encourage a campus climate that values diversity and inclusion while providing access to career training, employment and personal and professional support to meet the needs of our regional workforce.

Southeast Technical College is committed to student success and provides a variety of internal services, regardless of program or credit load. We also want to connect students to free community resources such as diaper giveaways, food pantries and even assistance with housing or bills, as well as organizations and resources to assist in our student's mental health and wellbeing.
The Southeast Technical College Office of Access and Workforce Opportunity is located in Room 108 of the Mickelson Center, 2320 North Career Avenue.
Horticulture student Emma Dickey enjoys working with water features because there's so much possibility in water technology. As she talks about her interest in working with water in horticulture, there are similarities to be seen in her experience as a high school student trying to learn about college pathways.
Marcella Prokop, Director of Access and Workforce Opportunity at Southeast Technical College, conducted a workshop at the Higher Learning Commission's (HLC) annual conference in Chicago on April 8. The workshop was titled "Access Coaches get Students off the Sidelines."
Southeast Technical College and its Foundation has increased the goal of the college's comprehensive campaign - Campaign NEXT - from $25 million to $30 million. The decision was approved by President Cory Clasemann and the foundation board at its regular meeting earlier this month.
