Doanh Do
Doanh Do is a nursing instructor at Southeast Technical College in Sioux Falls. She has been teaching since 2023.
Doanh’s career as a nurse commenced during the unprecedented pandemic in 2020. From the outset, she dedicated herself to caring for cardiac patients alongside those affected by the pandemic in step-down Covid-19 units. As 2022 unfolded, she began cross-training in the Intensive Care Unit and cared for critically ill patients across diverse specialties, including trauma, neuro, cardiac and surgical cardiovascular cases.
Doanh believes education is an everlasting pursuit and that proper growth occurs when real-life experiences intertwine with knowledge, expanding one's horizons exponentially. She’s committed to instilling this active learning mindset among students, empowering them to seek opportunities that align with their career aspirations. Serving as a mentor, she aspires to be a reliable resource for students within the confines of the classroom and during their clinical practice, and as they transition into licensed professionals.
