Kristin Larsen, Mathematics Instructor and Smart Start Academic Program Coordinator, has professional experience that includes both secondary and post-secondary education since 2003.
She earned her Baccalaureate in Mathematics from Augustana University and her Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Sioux Falls, obtaining K-12 principal certification. She has completed additional graduate-level coursework in mathematics through Nicholls State University in Louisiana and Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minn.
Kristin regularly engages in professional development by attending mathematics, technology and dual enrollment conferences, as well as completing ongoing coursework in education. As an instructor, she teaches a variety of general education mathematics courses.
