Sports Turf Students Volunteer at Sanford International

Twenty-three student volunteers from STC's Horticulture and Sports Turf Management programs worked alongside professionals as they at the Minnehaha Country Club to prepare the course for the Sanford International golf tournament.

The student volunteers started with an orientation the evening of Sunday, Sept. 10, 2021, and then assisted through the end of the tournament, which concluded Sept. 19, 2021. Duties included greens mowing, cup setting, tee setup, leaf blowing and providing quality bunkers.
