COVID-19 Guidelines
Southeast Technical College is open for face-to-face classes and activities. With the widespread availability of COVID-19 vaccines and opportunities for students and employees to be vaccinated, we plan a normal class schedule for the fall semester.
Southeast Tech administration will continue to review the status of COVID-19 in the community as well as updated guidance from the CDC, S.D. Department of Health and local healthcare advisors and make changes to these guidelines as the situation warrants.
Vaccinations Face Masks If You Are Sick If you are Exposed
COVID-19 Vaccinations
The COVID-19 vaccine is not required by Southeast Technical College. However, it is strongly encouraged that all employees and students be fully vaccinated to ensure we can maintain on-campus activities throughout the year. A COVID-19 vaccination is the single-most important and successful tool to protecting yourself from the virus and its many variants.
Although Southeast Tech does not require the COVID-19 vaccine, some students and employees participating in off-site clinical experiences and internships may need the COVID-19 vaccine to participate. Further information will be provided directly to students and employees in applicable programs. Information about where to obtain a COVID-19 vaccine is available through the S.D. Department of Health website.
Face Masks and Coverings
Masks are not required on the Southeast Tech campus at this time. Masks are optional.
