COVID-19 Vaccines

Vaccine and vial graphic The COVID-19 vaccine is not required by Southeast Technical College. However, it is strongly encouraged that all employees and students be fully vaccinated to ensure we can maintain on-campus activities. A COVID-19 vaccination is the single-most important and successful tool to protecting yourself from the virus and its many variants.

Although Southeast Tech does not require the COVID-19 vaccine, some students and employees participating in off-site clinical experiences and internships may need the COVID-19 vaccine to participate. Further information will be provided directly to students and employees in applicable programs. Information about where to obtain a COVID-19 vaccine is available through the S.D. Department of Health website, and an interactive vaccine finder is available on Vaccines.gov.
