Southeast Tech Foundation Celebrates With Scholarship Reception

The Southeast Tech Foundation celebrated its annual Scholarship Reception Thursday, Oct. 25, hosting more than 300 donors and scholarship recipients on campus.

According to Foundation Director Chellee Unruh, “We host this event annually for three reasons. One is to say thank you to our very generous friends and partners who donate to Southeast Tech’s scholarship program. In addition, we are celebrating our students who were selected to receive these scholarships, and perhaps the most meaningful is to actually introduce the donors to the students. It is really a special honor for us to be a part of something so significant for them.”

The Southeast Tech Foundation raises approximately $245,000 annually in scholarships through contributions from industry donors, individual gifts, grants and endowments and creates 277 scholarships.
