ACEN Renews Southeast Tech’s Registered Nursing Accreditation

The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) has approved the continuation of Southeast Technical College’s accreditation for the Registered Nursing program.

ACEN supports the interests of nursing education, nursing practice and the public by the functions of accreditation. Accreditation is a peer-review, self-regulatory process by which non-governmental associations recognize educational institutions or programs that have been found to meet or exceed standards and criteria for educational quality.

Southeast Tech hosted ACEN representatives for a site visit in February 2020 and the next site visit is scheduled for Spring 2028. Southeast Tech has been accredited by ACEN since 2015.
