This winter, a group of students in the Plumbing and Mechanical Systems program helped to build hurdles and other obstacles for Law Enforcement students to use for their physical training.

Adjunct Law Enforcement instructor Tonya Schoenfelder wanted to add some equipment to use in her class after coming across the law enforcement physical abilities test from another state. She reached out and was able to obtain the diagrams. From there, Dr. Craig Peters and Vince Berry stepped in, and students followed the plans to create the obstacles in the plumbing lab using PVC products.
