Southeast Technical College to Become a Mercedes Benz Campus
Partnership with Luxury Auto Mall Provides Students with MB Training
Southeast Technical College and Luxury Auto Mall are teaming up to participate in
the MB Campus, a program that clears the way for students to become Merecedes-Benz
registered technicians.
“The partnership with MB Campus and Luxury Auto Mall gives the students one more opportunity to an excellent career path,” said Terry Prouty, an STC instructor in the Automotive Technology department. “As part of the partnership, STC students will be eligible to apply for internships with Mercedes Benz and learn additional skills alongside their typical day-to-day classes.”
For Fall 2023, five students applied for the opportunity and are interviewing this week. However, the partnership will benefit all STC students in the Auto Tech program.
“We will be receiving a Mercedes Benz automobile to work on in our lab,” Prouty continued. “The additions to our curriculum will aid all of our students in career excellence.”
