STC to Offer Free Engineering Camp to High School Students

Southeast Tech is offering a FREE Engineering Camp this summer for students in grades 9-12. Students will get the opportunity to learn more about careers in Engineering Technology and Mechatronics. The camp is June 5-8, 2023, from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. each day. 

“This camp is a great opportunity for high school students to gain a better understanding of what working as an engineering technician or in the manufacturing/mechatronics industry will look like,” said Robert Griggs, STC president. “Our faculty do an outstanding job providing hands-on learning activities and facilitating industry tours.”

The camp is free and includes snacks, lunch and transportation to industry sites. Space is limited.

Southeast Tech offers a range of programs in Engineering Technology, including Architectural Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, Land Surveying Science Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology. Southeast Tech also has a program in Mechatronics Technology.
