Business Students, STC Employees Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity Facility
Southeast Technical College students in Human Resource Management and Foundations
of Business classes, along with faculty and staff, spent a combined 67 hours organizing
and cleaning at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore facility. Over the course of two days, these volunteers helped the ReStore team rearrange and organize every department
in the store. ReStore is a non-profit home improvement store and donation center. The effort was
a part of Service to Community (STC) Days, a twice-yearly initative to encourage engagement
in the community by students and staff.
