Southeast Technical College Names Wells Fargo Industry Partner of the Year

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Wells Fargo has been named as the Southeast Technical College’s Industry Partner of the Year, college officials announced today. The recognition honors the company’s long-standing commitment and instrumental support in creating the new homebuilding lab on STC’s campus. Wells Fargo will formally receive the recognition during STC’s spring 2026 commencement ceremony on May 8.

The Industry Partner of the Year, awarded annually, celebrates organizations that play a critical role in advancing hands-on, industry-relevant education and expanding opportunities for students. The Wells Fargo Homebuilding Lab will provide students with real-world experience in residential construction while supporting affordable housing in the Sioux Falls region.

“Wells Fargo’s impact on Southeast Tech spans more than two decades, and the Homebuilding Lab is a powerful example of what’s possible when industry and education work together,” said Cory Clasemann, president, STC. “Their continued generosity has helped shape learning environments that reflect real job sites and real careers. As we break ground on this lab this spring, we’re creating opportunities that will benefit students for generations. It’s an honor to recognize Wells Fargo as our Industry Partner of the Year.”
