Admission Criteria

1 of the following:  
  • HS GPA: 2.5 GPA - Algebra I and II “C” average or higher 
  • HS GPA: 2.3 GPA - Algebra I and II “B” average or higher 
  • GED: 550 
  • ACT: 17 
  • ACT Math: 16 
  • SAT: 920
  • SAT Math: 430 
  • College GPA: 2.0 GPA - Based on 12+ credits 
  • Professional Discretion 
If students do not meet one of the above requirements, they are required to take the Next-Generation ACCUPLACER: 
  • Writing: 240 
  • Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra and Statistics (QAS): 216  

Additional Program Requirements

Required Supplies 

Drafting tools will be provided by the program. Additional drafting tools may be purchased in the Southeast Tech Bookstore, if necessary. 

Technology Requirements

Southeast Technical Institute's Architectural Engineering Technology program requires students to purchase a Southeast Tech laptop from the IT Support Center.
