The Mechanical Systems, AAS with the stackable diplomas of Plumbing and HVACR provide graduates with a wide range of skills to utilize in commercial and residential settings. It is the intent of this program to train students with foundational knowledge for employment in design, installation, maintenance, service, and sales of HVAC/R and Plumbing equipment.
An associate degree in Mechanical Systems combines HVAC/R and Plumbing training into one versatile career. Depending upon availability of classes and lab space, you may be registered for either HVAC/R or Plumbing coursework first, and then you would end your program in the other field, ultimately graduating with an AAS in Mechanical Systems.
TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS: This degree is a Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL) program. You may purchase a laptop on your own or from the Southeast Tech IT Support Center.
