Admission Criteria

At least one of the following:
  • High School GPA: 2.0
  • GED: Sub-scores ≥ 145
  • College GPA: 2.0, based on 9+ credits
  • ACT: 15
  • SAT: 830

Safety Test

Students must complete Safety Tests as part of the HVAC/R and Plumbing portions of the Mechanical Systems program. Please refer to the Plumbing and HVAC/R program pages for details.

Southeast Technical College's Mechanical Systems program is a Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL) program. You may purchase a laptop on your own or from the Southeast Tech I.T. Support Center.
