STC Days Invoke Spirit of Giving
Hundreds of Southeast Technical College students and employees volunteered more than 375 service hours this fall as part of STC’s Service to Community Days.
Feeding South Dakota
- 54 STC faculty, staff and students, including two business classes and instructor Mike Ebbing
- 248 dry boxes packed
- 2246 backpacks packed

Lunch is Served
- Laura Cruse and 12 students from her English class
- 91 messages of encouragement written to and included with packed lunches
- 54 total service hours
- Raised $138.71 by hosting a bake sale to raise funds for Lunch is Served.
Flu Shot Clinic
- Stephanie Entringer and nursing students
- 29 total service hours
- Administered 150 shots to employees of Sioux Falls Catholic Schools
Church on the Street
- Kristin Wellnitz’s PSYC 101 class
- 22 students
- Made 116 sandwiches and packed lunch bags
- 22 total service hours
- Skip Miller, Keith Gries and 15 Law Enforcement students
- Delivered meals
- 30 service hours
Rake the Town
- 95 student and employee volunteers
- 5 lawns
- 125 bags of leaves filled and taken to the yard waste facility
