Admission Criteria  

2 of the following:

  • SAT: 830
  • HS GPA: 2.0 GPA 
  • GED: 500 
  • College GPA: 2.0 GPA
  • Professional Discretion
If students do not meet two of the above requirements, they are required to take the Next-Generation ACCUPLACER: 
  • Writing: 243 
  • Arithmetic: 217

Completion of a background check and drug screen are required before program classes start.

Technology Requirements

Southeast Technical College's Veterinary Technician program is a Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL) program. You may purchase a laptop on your own or from the Southeast Tech Support Center.
