Admission Criteria

Two of the following: 
  • ACT: 18
  • SAT: 960
  • HS GPA: 2.5 GPA
  • GED: 500
  • College GPA: 2.0 GPA
If students do not meet two of the above requirements, they are required to take the Next-Generation ACCUPLACER:
  • Writing: 255
  • Arithmetic: 217

Additional Program Requirements

Background Check and Drug Screen 

Completion of a background check and drug screen are required before program classes start.

Uniforms are required for this program and are available from the Southeast Tech Bookstore.  

 

Technology Requirements

Southeast Technical Institute's Dental Assisting program is a Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL) program. You may purchase a laptop on your own or from the Southeast Tech Support Center.
