1-Year Diploma Program
The Computer Technician diploma at Southeast Technical College prepares students for entry-level IT support and computer repair careers in just one year. Computer Technicians combine strong troubleshooting skills with technical knowledge of computer hardware, software and connected peripherals including monitors, keyboards, printers and storage drives.
This program focuses on installation, maintenance and minor repair of computer systems while building the customer service skills required in today’s I.T. environments.

Through practical lab experience in the Southeast Technology Center in Sioux Falls, students gain real-world experience installing, configuring and repairing computer systems and peripherals.
