Associate Degree Program
Curriculum
Fall Start
Fall start Paramedic Science classes are held during evening hours. Students must be nationally registered as an EMT prior to beginning the programmatic courses PARAM.

Spring Start
Spring start Paramedic Science classes are held durning evening hours, with an online option for some courses. Students must be nationally registered as an EMT prior to beginning the programmatic courses PARAM.
Admission Criteria
- HS GPA: 2.5
- GED: Sub-scores ≥ 145
- ACT: 18
- SAT: 960
- College GPA: 2.0 – Based on 12+ credits.
- Quantitative reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics (QAS): 225
- Writing: 240
- TEAS Math: 55
- TEAS Reading: 65
The TEAS requirement will be waived for students with ACT sub-scores of at least 21 in both Reading and Math.
Additional Program Requirements
Background Check and Drug Screen
A background check is required before program classes start. Drug screens may be required for healthcare students if a clinical affiliate has that requirement. See Health Handbook for details.
Immunizations
This program requires additional immunizations. Please the details on the immunizations page.
